Art is an acquired taste
To fast forward the grouchy weather in the day, I shall just blog about the last part of today.
After steamboat dinner @ Marina Bay with his relatives, we headed to Esplanade to chill alil.
Today performers at the Waterfront Bay (or something) is a jazz band called..Jazz-something.
Acid jazz to be precise.
To be honest, that band was good. The singer does has a good jazz voice.
But it is honestly too, that it is kinda disturbing to see him singing himself to heaven.
That look on his face is amusing,if not unappealing.
Having said that, I have nothing against his singing or his looks or the music.
Infact I do think he would be cute if he cut down on the kilos.
Now you get the picture.
A lil' like Samwise Gamgee(is that how that hobbit's surname spelt?) except with black hair, less curls naturally, bigger black eyes, wearing all black (and it's a turtleneck top!) with a...(Pardon me if this sounds rude to your ears.Just think white.) climaxing look.
In retrospect, that might be a good album to buy if you havent really see the singer.
You might have even imagined that it's David Beckham singing if you haven't know how Beckham actually sounds like.
I tried hard to focus on that Indian instead who got Iron Fingers!
Imagine he doesnt need to slap you with his whole hand, his fingers will leave burning marks on your face.
Oh..which leads me to wonder why is that Indian man beingisolated situated at one corner while the 4 of them are on the right side.
If the big polar like ang moh hasnt been looking at that Indian man while they are trying to hit the notes or maybe just challenging each other, I might have suspected that the arrangements of where they stand is kinda intentional. (Say something to do with skin colour?)
Acid jazz aint my favourite though I like Jazz.
Those are more for the dancefloor and by the 3rd,4th or 5th songs, my eyes are getting heavy.
It must bethe singer the weather and perhaps the music aint meant for listening pleasure but dancing.
If you think since when I enjoyed such 'controversial' or rude even talkings.
Don't be alarmed, it's just a paradigm that we are learning.
Don't tell me if the word 'Paradigm' aint meant to use like that.
I haven't quite understand the meaning actually.
Like who cares?
